The Company

LiFeSiZE AB was founded in 2006 as a spin-off from on-going lithium-ion battery research at

The Ångström Advanced Battery Centre (ÅABC) of Uppsala University, where the scope of

activities today spans the entire range of basic lithium- and sodium-ion basic battery research.

Josh Thomas

Josh Thomas (Chairman) was Professor of Solid State Electrochemistry at Uppsala University until 2009. He founded The Ångström Advanced Battery Centre in 2000, and LiFeSiZE AB in 2006. He is co-author of many 100s of scientific papers in the Advanced Battery Materials area.

Henrik Eriksson

Henrik Eriksson (CTE) was earlier chief battery technician at The Ångström Advanced Battery Centre of Uppsala University, where he accumulated a wealth of hands-on experience of lithium-ion battery fabrication at the basic research level. At LiFeSiZE AB he is now able to apply this experience to the new challenges we encounter in lithium- and sodium-ion battery-cell scale-up.
